A Letter from Dr. Scott Voiers

The dental landscape has changed drastically over the past several years. Corporate takeovers and private equity acquisitions of dental practices and groups have created an environment where the dental team, even the dentists, no longer have control over the experience of their patients. Quotas, pressure, and salesmanship have undermined the once-trusted profession of dentistry and have caused a tragic loss of the personal connection people used to feel with their dentist. Patients are beginning to feel rushed, experience inconsistency with their provider, and feel like each time they come to the office, they are greeted by a new face. At our practice, we have rejected this shift. We have one doctor owner, and most staff members have been with us for years or even decades. We have adopted the new technology of today, but kept the honesty of days gone by. Our number one priority is making sure you feel comfortable, cared for, and at home. There was a time when this was a given, but unfortunately, the world has changed. We haven’t.
